Rules for having Art craft you some stuff:

  1. Anything Art makes for you is going to count against your normal prize limit.
    1. The beanie for this not an extra magic item, its the exact magic item you want.
  2. Art currently has Charm Binding Basics, with the following charms: Spell Effect (lesser), Attribute Bonus – Greater, Skill Bonus – Lesser, Bane.
    1. Per James' ruling, if there is a charm that you pick something on, you can pick any.
    2. So, Spell Effect (lesser) means you can pick any spell level level 0-5. I'm not stuck with just 1 spell.
  3. When crafting an item, its level is equal to mine, which is equal to yours.
    1. Use this when looking at the Charm Bonuses table on page 199
  4. The reputation cost may not exceed my crafting bonus (7) + career level (same as yours)
    1. Use this when looking at the price of Charms on page 195
  5. I need to use my crafting skill, either tailoring or woodworking, using the downtime rules (page 73) to craft enough silver value = to the value of the base item.
    1. A regular long bow costs 60s. I probably need a month to a month and a week to make you a plain jane magic long bow with one charm.
    2. Superior Discreet Leather Armor costs (50#300%) 150s. I probably need 2, maybe 3, months to make you Superior Discreet Leather Armor of Not Getting Stabbed in the Face (Dex bonus)
  6. You need to give me:
    1. Your plan for the magic item.
      1. For story reasons, I'd like to have a good and unique physical description and name. See Unearth's entry on Art's wiki page.
    2. One of the following
      1. The silver I would have gained if I would have done that crafting for myself.
      2. The reputation I would have gained if I would have done the crafting for myself.
        1. We'll have to talk to figure out if you are paying me in reputation or silver. Part of my build's advantage is being able to churn out extra reputation.
        2. Per GM ruling, we can trade reputation as long as we aren't doing anything stupid.
      3. A magic item with 2x the reputation of the item I'm making for you.
        1. Unless I want to keep the magic item and not crunch it for raw reputation. I won't be an ass here.
